So what is that guy in the pic above doing with that broom-looking thing? It’s art. It’s part of Japanese artist Shinich Maruyama’s new photography series called Kusho. He’s able to capture airborne collisions of black Indian ink and water before they mash together and becomes grey. Shot using strobe light technology with speeds up to one 7500th of a second and the level of detail is super awesome. It’s unbelievable how something looks in the midst of ‘getting there’. Kusho is a beautiful mess and you do not want to rush Shinich Maruyama.
